We live in a system and environment that influence our health and psycho-physical balance. Knowing how it influences us can help make our habitat, environment and lifestyle allies of our health and wellbeing
The causes of our illnesses are often, usually related to our environment, both physically and psychologically. In fact, since the beginning of time, men learned that there were around positive energy and negative energies of natural character that affected them. Today, in addition, the number of such negative energy has increased, due to technological development, to the point that we live in a world of "dangers"-some of them almost imperceptible-the consequences can be devastating to our health. Know and be able to counter its effects in time could mean the difference between health and disease, even between life and death. Until recently, this knowledge was confined to the classic village healers. Today, fortunately, science has been able to corroborate this knowledge millennium which has often been regarded with disdain.
Health is very fragile and complex and do not usually take very aware of its importance until, for some reason, we realize that we have lost. When this happens and the vital functions of our body no longer respond correctly or the pain is so intense that it becomes unbearable, we would have a "magic formula" for, without great personal effort, you can recover. Unfortunately, it is normal when sick, I have to travel a nightmare of doctors, drugs, therapies and therapists, who often go from the most rational and orthodox up (when conventional medicine fails) healers, not to mention all the remedies "magnetic", "ionic" and "vibrational" who strive to sell as foolproof.
But what is really health and what to do to maintain and not lose it easily?
It was long believed that health was simply "the absence of any disease, but that concept has changed considerably today. Thus, the actual World Health Organization (WHO) defines it as "a state of physical and mental well-being and social development".
But who can claim to really live a healthy life and is happy in an environment increasingly degraded and unnatural as the one we have had in this century? How can we ensure that we lead a healthy life when the food we eat is full of additives, the air we breathe inundated with pollutants and our relations are increasingly dehumanized?
With a panorama as described, do not think we are keen to continue worrying about our health and, even, to continue reading these lines. But the truth is that there are many options and possibilities to achieve a good balance physically, mentally and emotionally as we approach the peak of health proposed by WHO. The test was given by countless people who, after suffering serious illness or physical disorders, sometimes incurable cataloged, have made a personal effort and relentless pursuit to provide the basic keys to regain lost health.
FOOD
Today there is no doubt that nutrition plays a key role in the functioning of the body. Where there is more disagreement and confusion in defining the ideal diet, because, often, the concern seems more focused on keeping the line in preserving health.
In fact, there are plenty of nutrient flows. Although I personally advocate a diet primarily lacto-ovo-vegetarian, I must say that it is important to be very wide to avoid deficiencies, but no excessive enough, and puts quality of nutrients. In addition, we must strive to select foods from nature that, if possible, free from chemical additives (preservatives, dyes, antioxidants, etc.).. Ideally, grow and prepare their own food yourself, but instead, it is advisable to buy those stamps bearing production.
EXERCISE
Proper nutrition is often not enough to balance and health when it is accompanied by a moderate but regular exercise. Throughout history the body has evolved with the constant movement: either as hunters, gatherers or farmers, we have always had to make a physical effort to survive. The body uses this movement and breathability as well serve as sweat detoxifies substances that could not be discarded through the kidneys, liver or respiratory tract.
Unfortunately, modern society tends to sedentary, which leads to a serious lack of movement in the short and long term, resulting in self-poisoning, circulatory problems, muscular weakness and general body stiffness.
PSYCHE
The mental attitude is another factor influencing health. It is proven that people with positive mental attitude is sick less, are less vulnerable to viruses and flus transient and recover more quickly and without many complications in situations as varied as post-operative processes, acts of God or following the loss of a loved one.
We can bring further possibilities of the mind when we become aware that, with appropriate therapy or a good workout, you can even overcome old traumas or, more surprisingly, perform surgery without anesthesia or perform a painless childbirth, as demonstrated by the research of Dr. Angel Escudero.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
Food, exercise and mental attitude are therefore vital and indisputable prerequisites for maintaining good physical and mental state, but there are a number of external factors, whose control is beyond our hands, which can affect our health.
In fact, most of us live in large or medium-sized cities surrounded by a myriad of factors and aggressive attackers. And the fact that we describe here is not meant in any way increase our levels of anxiety and concern, but to expose their health risks and help prevent, avoid or at least, take precautions to protect, enhance the level of our natural defenses against them.
THE AIR YOU BREATHE
The importance of air we breathe is undeniable. We can survive more than forty days without food and a few days without liquid but only minutes without breathing.
The food "etheric" prana air-to-East is of vital importance in all physiological and metabolic processes of living beings. In addition to its components, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, etc. .- you must take into account the correct proportion, quality and electric charges and ion exchange between them. Both the molecular structure as the ionic interactions allow for proper assimilation of the air we breathe as a vital and energetic or, conversely, toxic and devitalising.
The background radiation, terrestrial and solar energy, direct impact on the particles and air molecules, causing chemical reactions that make continuous relatively complex research into their composition and quality. Nevertheless, little by little have established a set of parameters that allow us to recognize God's kindness or unhealthy, as the degree of ionization, relative humidity, chemical composition, presence of contaminants, toxic gases and ozone.
In our environment, especially in our home, we can hardly make an exhaustive study of these parameters and components, but we can establish tolerance levels or more frequent hazard in terms of toxic substances in suspension, the presence of harmful radon gas, optimum moisture content and suitable ionization and avoid the presence of ozone, one of reagents capable of converting certain chemicals such as sulfur dioxide (SO2) in corrosive sulfuric acid.
The rapid increase of air pollution that has occurred in recent decades has coincided with an upsurge of respiratory diseases, asthma, allergies and lung cancers. However, it seems that we are far to find a quick and effective solution to this problem, especially in heavily industrialized areas and big cities where, in periods of calm air, the air just renewed and accumulation of toxic or dangerous, and the poor ionization, reaching alarming levels for the population. Enclaves like Athens and Mexico are forced to campaign for the disposal of children at certain times of the year in which the level of pollution seriously threatens the health of the most defenseless.
It is inside the houses where you have to pay more attention, because when it is closed and poorly ventilated environments, the problem worsens. In such circumstances, the air becomes very dangerous due to lack of some compounds and excess of others. The foul air is considered the main cause of what has been called "sick building syndrome", resulting in allergies, respiratory problems, colds, nausea, rashes and headaches. It might have been more aptly termed "syndrome of the buildings that sicken inhabitants. Considering that most of the urban population spends between 80 and 90 percent of time indoors, we should seriously worry the quality of air we breathe inside buildings, where trade and renewal air should be constant.
AIR POLLUTION SOURCES
The main sources of air pollution are industrial facilities is estimated that in the United States are responsible for one third of global pollution, and of that third, half is attributed to power plants.
During the phases and cycles of production of certain types of industry are emitted into the air known harmful substances, especially for the airway. The power plants, for example, send the air sulfur dioxide (SO2) and combustion residues, such as soot semisolid. The oil hydrocarbons released into the atmosphere, sulfur compounds, nitrogen oxides, mercaptans and phenols. High power are also polluting steel factories, chemical, fertilizers, foundries and aluminum industries, lead, zinc and cement, to name only the most important.
Pollution which fluctuates with seasonal changes is that of heating. The pollutants emitted during the combustion process are diverse and depend on the type of fuel used. To cite just a few, remember the emission of solid substances, oxides of sulfur and nitrogen, and acid anhydrides and organic materials. Clearly, when in contact with air, these compounds affect the entire population, affecting more people more vulnerable, who are sick, elderly and children.
The pollution caused by motor vehicles and combustion or explosion is one of the most recent, but also the most dangerous, due to the large amount of lead, benzene, carbon oxides and hydrocarbons emitted.
In action pollutes the environment and atmosphere are very important as the amount of the toxic effects produced by different substances in the air as the level of their concentration. This is closely related to atmospheric and meteorological factors such as air movement and wind and rain and fog, which help or hinder the dispersion, as well as the different radiations (ultraviolet, gamma ...).
Nor can we forget the huge amounts of tiny particles by wind ripped the earth's crust, such as dust, pollen and spores, which, however natural they may be, causing serious disruption to people sensitive or allergic.
As we have seen, air pollution due to massive emissions of air pollutants significantly alters the delicate natural balance and harmonious environment. A fact which also negatively affects the functions of our body and, therefore, on our health.
ENVIRONMENTAL NOISE
Corno citizens of industrial countries, we live in a world of sounds that are as inseparable from our daily decisions. In cities, especially in large cities, the main cause of noise pollution is attributable to traffic and the resulting engine humming, ringing and accelerating, which upset both drivers and those living in nearby buildings. To this we must add the effects of the railroads, often close to buildings and dwellings, airports, the noise far exceeds the tolerable limit, and the industry in general.
A report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Spain is the European country with the highest noise and world ranking second after Japan. DG Environment attributes the causes of this heavy noise pollution urban disorganization, road traffic, cultural habits and, above all, lack of industrial noise control. For its part, the countries of the European Economic Community have doubled their rate of noise in recent years.
The problem of noise pollution is therefore a risk factor for our health to such an extent that it has become one of the issues to devote more attention to government agencies. In fact, laws are passed continuously to reduce, limit or eliminate annoying noises, normally driven by reasonable protests. Something that is much more difficult with electrical pollution, electromagnetic or radioactive appreciably, but only through special teams, but imperceptible to our ordinary senses.
RADIATION, MAGNETISM AND ALTERATIONS ELECTROATMOSFÉRICAS
All living things have evolved continuously subjected to a certain background radioactivity and natural electric and magnetic fields that have always been present, though fluctuating in time and differ depending upon the area of the planet concerned.
These radiations and energies are mainly due to the geological structure of the Earth's radiation constant, not to mention the impact on our planet caused by radioactive particles and radiation different from the cosmos, especially those that reach us from the sun
The problem becomes worrying when the radioactivity is incorporated into a overdose following certain practices and human activities.
Of the 100 to 130 millirems per year of average radiation absorbed dose, under normal circumstances, for any human body, we can move to 200, 500 or more mR / year, depending on where we live, our occupation, the radiographs we own or the proximity of our house in farming areas of radioactive minerals or leaking radioactive nuclei (estimated at over 800,000 people directly affected by the leakage of the Chernobyl nuclear power station, while over a million still live in areas with high levels of radioactive contamination). Who we believe may be lucky enough to live away from such dangers we have significantly increased levels of radioactivity in our home to install, for example, a floor of granite or vitrified stoneware, which sometimes reach double the ambient radiation .
Apart from radioactive alpha or beta particles and gamma radiation, there are loads electroatmosféricas constantly fluctuating depending on the winds, climatic changes and variations in atmospheric pressure. These air electrostatic charges can interact with body electrical processes, even to induce alterations in neural and psychological. This translates into increased anxiety, nervousness and depression during periods of pretormenta or on days when the air is highly ionized due to solar radiation, the abrupt changes of terrestrial magnetism and climate change.
ELECTRICAL AND ELECTROMAGNETIC POLLUTION
Electrical and electromagnetic pollution is perhaps the least obvious, most subtle of radiation to which we are exposed today. Quick and inexorably it invades our homes and workplaces, nature and life in general. The natural electromagnetic environment has changed greatly in recent years, especially in urban areas, where we are surrounded by artificial electromagnetic fields constantly increasing.
The biological changes due to these low-frequency fields and low intensity are of lively controversy, the interests and economic implications involved. However, everyone agrees on the need for progress in scientific research to clarify and discern possible potential damage and forms of protection, including rules governing-at our disposal. In fact, proliferating studies on the possible biological effects of low frequency magnetic fields and intensity, both on the molecular structures as on higher organisms.
Currently in Spain there is no law governing these phenomena of electromagnetic pollution, while countries like Sweden and the former Soviet Union have rules governing time limits on exposure to different intensities. For example, in the former USSR prohibits housing within a distance of 110 meters of power lines. For its part, the European Community has just released some recommendations fall far short of the levels from which our health is affected.
Something incomprehensible when the incidence of such fields of human health is well established, and that affects the central nervous system and the endocrine and immune systems that, ultimately, are what allow us to maintain physical and mental balance.
It is evident therefore that the presence of natural radiation and artificial electromagnetic fields are unbalanced elements that increase our vulnerability to any functional disorder, paving the way for the actions of diseases and viruses, and even for nervousness or depression are installed in our daily lives.
SENSITIVITY TO RADIATION
But these radiations do not affect as much as everybody: to dose and exposure times are identical, there are people exceptionally sensitive and others less so. The hypersensitive to chemicals, energy or radiation harmless to the rest continue to face the incomprehension of others that may come to call them manic or neurotic.
In fact, there are numerous cases of people hypersensitive to electricity or low frequency electromagnetic fields emitted by electrical equipment or home appliances. These people suffer nervous attacks or severe headaches that force them to leave the place or disconnect the wiring of the house to remain. It is certainly isolated events, but it is questionable whether this radiation also impinge on others, except that our body does not include mechanisms that notify us of damage you receive.
The situation can be troubling when, in the same dwelling or workplace, there is a concentration of natural radiation is increased by the presence of electrical and electromagnetic fields from industrial processes, power lines or appliances.
RISKS OF OUR OWN HOME
All factors and health risks mentioned can find them in varying degrees in our home or workplace. The Geobiology and bio have been particularly concerned to investigate thoroughly all applications and provide possible solutions to individual problems.
The Geobiology arises from the observations and studies conducted by physicians, biologists, geologists, architects and others free. The name of this science is due, in part because many of the diseases and disorders suffered by many people appear linked to radiation from underground populated places: gamma radiation, radon, presence of faults or fissures, ground water , Earth's magnetic field changes, etc.. The Geobiology studied electrical or electromagnetic pollution, toxic materials used in construction and the effects of radiation and radioactivity have in our homes. Their findings leave no doubt about the importance and impact of radiation from the place and its relationship with many of the ailments and illnesses suffered by the majority of the population.
It remains curious that result often is concern about environmental pollution and ecological deterioration of the environment and not we realize that we spend most of our time (in the West, 80% or 90%) locked between four walls, sometimes contaminated.
Clearly, after reading the above risk agents and taking into account that may be present in our home, the obvious question of whether we can have a healthy home in all aspects addressed in this article. We realize that this is a complex issue that depends on many factors and if we start with a home already constructed, a building requiring renovation, an area where it will build, and so on.
Whatever our situation, even if we only want to make sure the safety or harmfulness of the building we inhabit, will be specified in the parameters underlying the bio that ultimately raises the need to design homes that are a health criteria and harmony for its inhabitants and the environment. What sense does it live in an isolated house cold or fire-protected if construction has employed highly carcinogenic materials? What real benefits provides a home with a very complex electrical and electronic appliances, alarms, sensors, security monitors, etc. .- if it doubles the risk that their residents suffering from leukemia or a brain tumor? We have entered an irrational logic where something that should bring comfort and safety seem more dangerous than the supposed benefits promised. The house is more than an inert structure designed for purely functional and made to base materials to which they are required just a good price, strength or duration.
The integrated bio-techniques and the latest scientific advances with holistic and ecological relationship between housing and people who occupy them. In this sense, the house is an integral part of the global ecosystem and is itself a consumer of energy, materials, air and water, which returns to the environment as waste and waste which can be highly polluting, unless we adopt a rational attitude, both energy savings and the gradual abandonment of the use of synthetics and toxic. So the place we inhabit might be likened to a living organism and its functions and materials to the organs and skin, the walls would be our third skin (after our clothes). And all these skins perform functions essential for life: protect and insulate us from bad weather, breathe, absorb, evaporating, regulate and communicate.
GLOBAL HEALTH AWARENESS
The ecological attitude should not be merely as a fad: the survival of our society and the future of coming generations depends on our actions there. Our health and the planet in general are increasingly in our hands and we have no right to inhibit.
And we cannot-we can not, let fate decide our governments, environmentalists and doctors. It is an attitude consistent conscious and committed staff, aware of the real problems, greater efforts to prevent them from their origin in patching their harmful effects.
Any effort we make to learn more about our body and its subtle responses to any situation, however difficult, will be of great help to search (and find) the health, understood as something broader than mere "absence of disease" .
To achieve this, we must start to take control and responsibility of our lives and not remain eligible for the total disregard of our body, leaving it in the hands of so-called "specialists". An attitude that many have already adopted and which has led to greater research interest and investment in areas such as prevention, real knowledge of the risk factors and attitudes that enable optimal functioning of our body (exercise, nutrition, psychological responses, etc.)..
Hopefully in the coming decades this irrational attitude change, though very lucrative, so much for enhanced development of our own natural responses to any external aggressor-virus, germs, toxic substances, cold, heat or electromagnetic fields, and spread the knowledge of those activities suitable for the proper functioning of organic, biological and psychological human beings.
ien it is known that stress, physical exhaustion or mental and emotional deficiencies diminish our immune responsiveness, opening wide the doors to imbalance and disease. This also happens with poor diet or sedentary life too.
Our body is suficientement
intelligent and able to cope with any eventuality. Conozcámosle and let us help you to flow with life. The result is the overall balance-perfect physical and mental, health and happiness in their broadest sense.
A recurrent risk of being somewhat pedantic, I can only conclude these remarks with something I find undeniable: both problems and possible solutions are entirely in our hands.

DECALOGUE SANA HOUSE AND ECOLOGICAL
1. It is important to the proper location of the house. Avoid large industrial complexes of air pollution, noisy spaces and locations near large power lines or whose surface is traversed by flows of groundwater or geological faults. Before building a house, it is crucial geobiologist study the terrain.
2. The abundant vegetation, both outside and inside of the house, helps reduce the effects of air pollution and noise and thermal comfort and aid to the proper climate and humidity environment. NASA has done studies that have shown the decontamination of plants inside buildings: within a few hours can eliminate over 80% of toxic substances such as benzene and trichlorethylene.
3. Bioclimatic design of the house and proper solar orientation is also important to properly regulate the temperature and weather changes, maintaining a perfect thermal and environmental comfort without additional energy costs. Moreover, we must pay special attention to the renewal of air and breath of the building from every pore (walls and ceilings) and avoid the closed pore insulation and paints plasticizers.
4. The building materials should be as natural and organic as possible, avoiding those toxic, radioactive and other gases or components that generate static electricity (like plastics, painted surfaces and synthetic fibers). Bricks, stone, wood, vegetable fibers, the dirt and mud with abundant lime mortars shall be preferable to concrete high in iron, aluminum, PVC or excess cement and synthetic chemical additives.
5. The paintings must be natural or at least not with suspected toxic or allergic effects. Among the wide range of ecological paints on the market, the most recommended are the paintings in silicate minerals because they are totally, resist fire and pollution, can be washed, not toxic, the walls to breathe and last much.
6. For furniture and interior decoration will prefer wood and natural fibers. The first can be treated with organic oils and varnishes, wax and aromatic essences. We must avoid the furniture and wood bonded with formaldehyde and toxic glues and treatments of wood preservatives containing lindane or pentachlorophenol, highly toxic.
7. Proper ventilation, which should also be carried during the winter months will allow us to avoid accumulation of toxic problems in housing, as the dreaded radon in granite areas can cause lung cancer when their concentration is very high .
8. Avoid power lines and transformers near the house will protect us from electrical pollution, which also occurs with the indiscriminate use of electrical appliances and close to places of rest. If you sleep poorly, suffer insomnia or nervousness, try to unplug the clock radio, lamps and other electrical installations close to the head of your bed. In older homes with an electrical installation or poor, it is advisable to separate the head of the bed about 50 or 60 inches from the wall if you want to rest well and evade electric fields.
9. The orientation of the headboards magnetic north is essential if we are relaxed sleep, whereas if we wish to "recuperate" should be steered towards the east. It is important that the bed is not located over underground water, geological faults or magnetic lines, which cause short-or long-term serious health conditions cumulative excess radiation.
10. The energy saving, renewable energy and recycling are prerequisites in an ecological and healthy home, both for its inhabitants and for the environment. The environment deserves serious respect and a responsible attitude and each of us must make its small grain of sand. They are seeking both our own health and the planet, that is, ultimately, the common house.
